Hot Salsa Media is at the forefront of initiative, ingenuity and innovation. Arranging a wine festival in the middle of Kwa-Mashu is just one of the projects that they have initiated. The brief was to cover both days and capture the experience as well as the branding. Images were used in mainstream media and by Hot Salsa What started out as a dream has become a reality: the TOPS at SPAR wine festival format has finally arrived in KwaZulu-Natal thanks to the heart-warming passion of TOPS at SPAR, exhibitors, Durban Tourism, the KZN Film Commission and the Ekhaya Multi Arts Centre involved in bringing this vision to life. Innovation is at the heart of all we do and the TOPS at SPAR KwaMASHU Wine & Lifestyle Festival is no exception to this rule. We have created a distinctly-African platform that unites KwaMashu and the greater Durban community in celebration of South Africa’s world-class wines, and what better place to host the inaugural festival than at the K-CAP Ekhaya Multi Arts Centre, a non-profit college teaching dance, music, theatre and film, which has long been at the forefront of establishing the KwaMashu community as a vibrant epicentre of creativity and innovation. Our vision is to grow this festival so that it becomes an established highlight on KwaZulu-Natal’s entertainment calendar, leading to meaningful business investment in the community and surrounding areas, growing tourism in the KwaMashu Hill and introducing a new market to the wonderful world of wine in a vibrant and elegant setting. So to all our partners, sponsors, wineries, visitors and VIPs who have made this inaugural event possible, we would like to say ngibona kakhulu!
